Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the hotel was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms, although small as expected for an old hotel, were conveniently located close to the main staircase and on the day tour route. The service, though lacking in communication skills at times, was guest service-oriented and exceeded expectations. The location, with beautiful surroundings and near town and The Rocky Mountain National Park, was a definite highlight. The dining experience was exceptional, especially with a server named Robert. Overall, a mixed experience with some drawbacks but also many positives to enjoy.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, providing beautiful mountain and town views, but they didn't quite meet my expectations. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster, with some staff members appearing overworked but still managing to be accommodating, especially during the night tour. The location was fantastic, with a rich history and a serene atmosphere, making it a central hub for exploring Estes Park. The dining experience was delightful, offering a variety of options, especially during breakfast. However, the hotel was not without flaws, as losing my husband's credit card led to unnecessary stress.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The room was lovely and comfortable, offering a view of The Lodge brightly adorned with festive lights. The only downside was the lack of sufficient storage space for clothing and the slightly odd placement of the ironing board.
